The NBA . Trades anyone?

Any trades you guys would like to happen? Or think might actually happen? Will Garnett EVER leave Minnesota? Will Kobe ever make up his damn mind?

Ed put the Rasheed Wallace trade out there. So i'll respond: No way. There's now way i'd want him in a Knick uniform. I might be alone on this one, but I don't see the guy being a good fit, especially at his age. He might provide the team with some crazy good herb (In case the Feds are reading, this site is adamantly anti-drugs). Thinking more about it though, he might be a good to partner for Curry, but I don't think he rebounds enough. The only way I would see it working is if Lee could play full time at SF by making his jumper, although they would probably want him in the trade. If he could, he could pick up the rebounding void that Curry and Wallace would leave.

Other trade rumors out there:

Rashard Lewis to the Celtics, as long as Gerald Green isn't involved in the trade. Apparently, they're good friends with each other. And can anybody else believe that the Suns want to trade Shawn Marion? His name is in a bunch of rumors as long as the team trading for him takes back a bad contract or 2 (Does the name Marcus Banks ring a bell?). The Suns want to trade high up into the first round and are using Marion as one of their starting points for any package for Marion since they can't get Atlanta's pick which was Lottery Protected.

Joe Dumars said he wasn't trading Sheed yesterday. But you are right Lu, Sheed on this Knicks team would just mean the NBA would have a return of the Jailblazers east coast style (JR Rider what happened to you?)

Rumors I'm hearing about is that Kobe might still wind up in NYC if the Lakers don't show an prove they're serious about making some moves. I hear Jermaine O'Neal is on their trade radar.

I wish the Suns instead of looking to move Shawn Marion, would look to trade Amare to the Timberwolves for Kevin Garnett. This trade works for both sides. The wolves get a young and talented player to match with the youth they've drafted over the years and the Suns get a proven veteran to pair with Steve Nash (aka best point guard in the NBA today.) I think the 'Wolves owe Garnett that much for everything he has given thier francise. He deserves to get a chance to go for that ring.

Grant Hill is also considering re-joining the Pistons. Oh Yeah, Baby.

I agree with the both of you that'Sheed on the Knicks isn't a good fit. We're trying to rebuild and we're going to add an aging PF that doesn't like the post full-time and shows very little personal control on the court? Maybe 5 years ago but now? Nah. Unless they're willing to take Jerome James and/or Q-Rich...

Grant Hill on the Pistons is interesting but that team needs another ball handler/scorer off the bench. The Pistons aren't in bad shape but they are getting a bit long in the tooth.
